The Roadies is really getting dull, boring . The bitching of the girls is getting really very ugly. The contestants are too dumb to perform their tasks. Ayaaz is too weak to be in Roadies. The girls (except for Sonel) are so lame and just so self-obsessed and obnoxious that I feel like breaking their noses. Nihal is just a big mouth who claims to do anything in this world except putting the things into practice. This time he took his embarrasment even to a next level. He farted while doing money task. Ashu, I dont know, the way Ankita was voted out in the earlier episode and the way he gave Shambhavi's team the immunity this episode, I have started to hate this Bhaiya.
This episode the journey started from Yercaud to Pondicherry with Prabhjot as the captain. Why in the world this Anmol thing always refuses to be a captain ? But before they actually started their journey, they were to meet Ranvijay at Valley view point for their money task. The task was good and required solid abs muscles. Roadies were to hang upside down on a wood structure and shift the water using a vessel(made of coconut shell), from a hollow wooden log(filled with water) on bottom to an empty container on top. Ayaz had a weak point as he had a injury on his abs, so he decided to do it in the last. The task was going on fine, Nihal mixed a scent of his fun, when he farted during his turn, and these camera/sound people have captured the shot with such a perfection. Totally, they managed to fill in 6.5 litres(deduct 1.5, for wrong filling) in the container and added 25000 INR more in their money account. Off to Pondicherry.
On reaching Pondicherry, Ayaz was not alone in the “accident” club. Ashu and Sonel also joined the wagon. No serious injuries but Ashu’s foot was swollen. Man, a biking show with over 40 days of biking and such amateurish driving!!!!!GOSH!!! Things apart, the show must go on.. The next day, they reached at a cricket ground for their immunity task. BOWL OUT. Two teams, 5 chances each team and whosoever strikes down the wicket maximum number of times wins. Co-captain or the captain of other team was chosen as Shambhavi. The teams were:
Prabhjot, Nihal and Sonel
Anmol, Shambhavi and Ayaz
Ashu was not selected by anyone owing to his foot injury. The rules announced: team with maximum number of wicket hits wins, If their is a tie say 1-1, 2-2 etc. then Ashu will get the immunity, if scores are 0-0, then nobody gets the immunity.
The task started after some practice and warmingup. Nihal once again proved that he’s really a pain in the ass. During the task, Prabhjot, Anmol and Shambhavi started their wordly war (comments on looks, body, beauty.....fuck off grls...). Overall Scores 0-0.
After coming back to hotel, the camera took us on a sea shore where Nihal, Shambhavi and Anmol were shown having fun. Nihal really enjoying both the girls. ( I have not missed “with” after enjoying). Shambhavi jealous of Anmol for talking to Nihal, Prabhjot sure of elimination, Sonel being sad… came the time of elimination with a sudden and not so shocking twist. Ranvijay told them that one of the team(who played cricket) would get the immunity and Ashu will decide that team. Ashu named Shambhavi’s team with the logic that Ayaz was closest to the stumps. He knew, Prabhjot was sure to go and there was no point winning the trust of that team. The voteout started and Prabhjot given 6 votes and Nihal 1. Sonel was really sad and broke out for her voting Prabhjot. Shambhavi and Anmol were real happy with this voteout. The obnoxious, dumb, self obsessed grls had a go at each other even after the voteout with Prabhjot saying that she would like to beat someone on the show and the other two grls retaliating.

Roadies Episode 5- March 08 08
Roadies get little sleep after the elimination of Snehashish. They are awoken very early in the morning for a long ride from Bangalore to Tamilnadu's Yarkud. When asked to choose a captain, they choose Shambhavi as the captain of the day. It takes them a fatiguing travel of the whole day to reach their destination of the day. When they reach Yarkud, they are surprised to get a camping place instead of their usual hotel rooms. It was a place totally in midst of nature with even a makeshift toilet.
The roadies, tired after a long journey, get to sleep but are suddenly awaken by a scroll asking them to come out where Ranvijay's waiting for them. Then there begins a "gossip", "question answer" session, for the roadies to "know each other better". The plan was that the roadies could ask each other whatever question that he/she may have for another roadie, with complete anonymity.
"Interesting" questions were asked, like "Are you a virgin? If no, how many boys have you slept with?" .hahahaaaa...The focus of the session was completely on Shambhavi with most of the questions made towards her. Quite a ugly spat occured between Shambhavi and Prabhjot, with the latter being given rude comments like "who would wanna flirt with you". The flirtatious Shambhavi was grilled and her relation with Nihaal also came into doubts with the later completely refusing of having any attachment with Shambhavi.
The roadies were awoken next morning and had to cook breakfast by themselves. All the cooking was done by Ashutosh with the rest not participating at all. After breakfast they went on for their immunity task. In the immunity task everyone was asked to write the names of the four roadies that they wanted out. The four who got the maximum votes were Shambhavi, Prabhjot, Anmol and Soenel. The surprise in this task came here with Ranvijay telling that the unwanted people formed one group and the wanted ones, Ayaz, Ashu, Nihaal and Ankita, formed the other group.
The task was to hang upside down in trapezes above a pond and pass as many logs across the pond as possible. The time limit for the "wanted" group was 2 mins and the "unwanted" group were given an advantage of an additional minute. The captain of the day, Shambhavi, sent the other team first.
The "wanted" team could pass on only one log with Nihaal falling down twice and wasting most of their precious time. The other team could also manage only one legal crossing with Soenel and Anmol falling off the trapeze. With this tie in the immunity task came a new twist that nobody would gain immunity in this voteout.
THE VOTEOUT:
The voteout was quite a sow. The roadies voted evenly between Anmol and Prabhjot. As a result these two got immunity and another voteout began. This time around the roadies voted out Ankita, who appeared quite shocked at her exit.

Roadies Episode 1 - Feb 9 08
The begining of the journey from Goa. The thirteen contestants arrived in Goa from their respective cities. The city politics began as soon as the people got in the hotel with Dehli forming a majority group. Shambhvi, Anmol, Vikrant and Ankita were very quick to form their Delhi Core group. Sonel was sort of left out of the group because of her laid back attitude.
Vikrant was chosen as the first captain of the roadies. He chose Ayaz as his co-captain. These two had to choose their teams to compete with each other in three different tasks. Vikrant choose Shambhvi, Anmol, Nihal, Ashutosh and Snehasish in his team and Ayaz choose Vibhor, Ankita, Ankita, Varun, Sonel in his team. Prabhjot was left out and was then supposed to join the team which loses the first of the three tasks of the day.
The first task of the roadies was the Expresso Shots Task. In this task the roadies had to take in as many express shots as they can within Two minutes. This was a team task and the captain couldnot refill the glasses till all the six roadies had finished their shots. Vikrant's team went first. Apart from Anmol who all the guys and girls did very well and they managed to take down 4 rounds of Expresso Shots in the alloted time. But as Vikrant refilled the glasses before Anmol finshed her shot in the first round, they were penelised three shots and had 21 Expresso Shots.
Ayaz's team has a disastrous start. The captain wsa himself stuggling to gulp down the expresso. Ankita Seghal aka Simran was the most disappointing in this task and was possible the cause of them taking down only two rounds of expressos.
The second task was the Banana Ride task. Prabhjot joined the losing team. Now the captains had to leave aside one of the members on the shore and the rest would go on the task. The task was that the member sitting in the last position would hop above the member ahead of him and reach the front and the cycle continues. The more number of cycles in 15 minutes would determine the winner.
Vikrant's team left aside Snheashish coz of his height and weight. Ayaz's team has initially planned on leaving out Prabhjot but hearing the other captain's reasoning, Ayaz decided to leave out Sonel.
Vikrant's team went first and did a very good job in the banana ride. They fell down once but did the task quite well otherwise. Ayaz's team again didnot do well. They fell from the boat twice and lost by a big margin in this task also.
The third task was next. Vikrant's team had thought that with two tasks already under their belt, they had probably won their immunity. But to their surprise Ranvijay called the third task the task for immunity. And the task was so random. Out of a collection of keys, the team member had to come and guess which key belongs to which bike. Vikrnt's team had 3 chances and Ayaz's had 2. AS fate would have it, Vikrant, with his luck running high made the correct guess and won the immunity for his team in the final chance.
The Politics and the Voteout
All the games played plannings made and politics done by the roadies were kind of shattered when Raghu joined the party and spoiled the show by declaring that this was going to be a double vote-out. Not one, but Two roadies were going to leave the show even before it actually began. Amidst all the confusion and chaos, the two unlucky one were Ankita Sehgal aka Simran and Varun Saini. Varun had masterminded Simran's elimination to weaken the Delhi group and the Delhi group wanted to weaken the Chandigarh group by eliminating Varun. Both Succeeded!!!

MTV Hero Honda Roadies
MTV Roadies is an adventure reality TV show that tests the spirit of young groups traveling cross-country on bikes. The show was created in 2003 by Raghu Ram, the senior supervising producer of MTV India channel.
The show features thirteen Roadies, who are given Hero Honda Karizma bikes to travel all over India on a pre-decided route. They are given tasks at every destination which are either Money or Immunity tasks. A particular amount of money is decided for a money task in which they have to earn that money. An immunity task is team based or carried out individually where they have to perform certain tasks to get immune from the next vote out. Each week a vote out is held where all the roadies vote out one of the non-immune Roadies. The one who gets the maximum votes is eliminated. The final seven Roadies will win a Hero Honda Karizma bike and the last Roadie will win a cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000.
The show is in its fifth season this year. The winners of the past four seasons were as follows:
Rannvijay Singh (Delhi) – First Season
Ayushman Khuranna (Chandigarh) – Second Season
Parul Shahi (Delhi) – Third Season
Anthony Yeh (Kolkata) – Fourth Season
This year the show has gone international. The Roadies will travel over three countries – India, Thailand and Malaysia. The show is hosted by Rannvijay Singh, the winner of the first season.
Auditions were held in different cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Delhi and Jaipur in October 2007. Contestants from all over India were judged by Raghu Ram, Senior Supervising Producer of MTV India and Nikhil Chinnapa, an MTV VJ.
The audition episodes were aired on MTV India channel from January 05, 2008 to February 04, 2008, every Saturday at 7 p.m.
Episode One : Chandigarh Audition
The Chandigarh audition episode was telecast on January 05, 2008. Varun Saini, Prabhjot Virk and Vibhor Gupta were selected from the Chandigarh audition.
Episode Two : Kolkata Audition
The Kolkata audition episode was telecast on January 12, 2008. Ayaz Ahmed and Ankita Bajaj were selected from the Kolkata audition.
